We pack a welcome bag for each child who is moving into a new home, or coming into care. These bags contain items for the home, as well as child specific items, and a gift card to purchase immediate clothing and hygiene needs.

Families should contact us when receiving a placement, let us know age and gender, and we will have your bag ready within 24 hours. 

When a child transitions out of a home, we make a care package for the family they are leaving. We as fellow resource families understand the emotions of joy and grief intertwining when a child leaves your home, and we are here to support you in every season of your journey.

We provide a birthday gift for each child in care during their birthday month. Families are encouraged to fill out the form under the "BIRTHDAY GIFTS" tab on this website.

• Pre-licensing needs assistance: fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, baby proofing equipment, medicine lock boxes, furniture, bedding, etc.
• Grocery gift cards: every other month families with youth in their homes can pickup a grocery gift card from the office, or have it mailed if they are outside Macon County.
• Pajamas, socks, underwear, shoes, diapers, and wipes for youth are always available to resource families at our office. Stop by during office hours, and we will be happy to provide supplies to you.

As we host fundraisers and various events for resource families, we need the support of businesses to make these events successful and pour back into the families who pour into vulnerable children on a daily basis. Our events can be found on our Facebook page.
